MCB NOTES
--------------

1. Where have all the truly rare paintball guns gone? When was the last time you saw even a double action Line SI advantage? With the days of new $150.00 stock Ions on Ebay... Are these guns just being thrown out?

2. Picked up my Dangerous Power Threshold. What an amazing gun. Under disassembly and review as we speak. Field test will be this upcoming weekend.

3. Team Carter's Commando will be gathering September 29th at EMR in PA for the Fall Castle game. We are also hosting the EMR Paintball Museum and will be hosting the Open House for the museum that weekend also. Stop by, ask some questions, or bring a donation!

4. MCB has added a new section: The Hall of Shame. Found under the "Feedback" section, this is for traders people should be staying away from. So far this has been a rousing success. While only 3 people have made this list... Since the creation and moving, 1 of the 3 was immediately cleared up. Here's to hoping the other two will be resolved shortly also.

5. The Weekly Paintball Update has been a rousing success, and I want to thank everyone for helping make this possible, and those who don't mind reading my dribble. As always, send any new news and updates to painthappy@gmail.com

6. My office is under major reconstruction this week, and we're upgrading our shop computers and servers. I'll be semi-MIA, but I should be able to get info via my blackberry still. My thumb typing is slow so please bear with my response times this week.

7. The MCB Ebay Sniping program has been fully funded, and will be making its debut sometime next month.

GUN OF THE WEEK
---------------------

The Legend Limited Edition by AIR-TECH. Many of us remember the ads in APG, of the 24-Karat Gold Plated pump gun. Personally, I've never seen one of these guns, and would LOVE to own one. Even if I can't buy it, drop us a line at mcarterbrown.com and post the pictures. Please!
See the gun at vintagerex.com: http://www.vintagerex.com/pics/gunpics/Air%20Tech/Legend/ads/1988-07%20-%20APG%20-%20Legend%20Ad%20Scan.JPG

BETCHA DIDN'T KNOW???
----------------------

Probably the first paintball magazine ever printed was called "Adventure", first published in 1985. Their tag line was: "The Magazine for Survival Game Players".
This was probably not to be the official name, as they were holding a Name the Magazine contest. Covering mostly Northern California, it's a very interesting piece. I'll post the PDF file at Vintagerex.com shortly along with our new "Literature" section.

POTENT QUOTABLE
----------------------

"I just love these mean little pieces of brass!" - Luke

The MCB mailing list will be released every Wednesday as a way to get something to help you through the week.
