| I enjoy the stock frame, myself. The slightly longer angle and the PMI grips make it more comfy to shoot than the standard .45's, for me.
Potmetal, yes. But if you don't mind black, it's great--the powdercoat (or whatever) is so thick and smooth I thought it was plastic at first.
And my bolt's bare aluminum.
