Just for personal preference, I like having my guns be as quiet as possible, so spending the extra $18 isn't that big of an issue.
Actually I'm thinking of first getting one for my cocker, and if I feel it will balance well enough I will get one for my Phantom. I still feel that 10.2 ounces will feel a bit different compared to a stock 3 ounce barrel on a 2 1/2 pound gun. |
Yeah, I'll agree that the PPS barrel does bring down the front a bit, but on my 'Cocker, it balances nicely with a small drop and a Ricochet 2k on top. When I used it on my Sniper II with a 12 oz. tank and a 130 round hopper, it took a while to get used to the front-heaviness of it.
