I have to disagree, respectfully or course. When playing with more experienced players, I would expect honor to come through. I EXPECT it but I don't plan on it. That being said, I know there were quite a few surrender at AO South (last big game I was at with quite a few experienced players) and I know there were a few surrenders. No blind fire is a rule at the field as well.
If I get surrendered, I'm out and I appreciate not being shot in the back. However, because I don't trust, well anyone, I'm always ready to shoot the person should they not take the easy way out.
What it sounds like here was somebody offered a surrender and then went back on it in a nanosecond. Not cool. If you're amped up so much you jerk that trigger, you need to learn trigger control.
