incase it is not noted, mentioned before, etc, just to add my 2cents

1) you have to go to a local field/store . . . they can reject you . . . it is an option
1a) since you have to go to a field/store they MAY get credit for a sale . . . at least I sure hope so

2) BT is listed but you only get empire and invert gear ? ? ?

3) Sponsorship is NOT ALWAYS a free ride, some offer something beyod what the average Joe gets. It is to help them in doing what they do. Some Sponsorships offer webhosting, some offer just cash broken up by events showings, some require PR (public relations) showings not at an event, some offer only help with transportation cost or bookings.

To join a motorcycle club you need a sponsor
AA or NA you have a sponsor
to ride a silly bike in france you don't need a sponsor but one sure helps
to get married at some churchs you have to be a member or practicing the faith and an existing member must vouch for you . . . aka sponsor.
to join a paintball team the other memeber must approve your position on the team . . . aka sponsor you

Note packages are only for tourney players so the teams MUST book tourney events.

However, just like Harb and Josh I too agree the paintball sponsorship needs a true make over to hold the sponsoring to what other industries do even to a small scale change from what it is. I did note it else where before I saw this.
The sponsor needs to do more than just offer discounts.
