I have to side with Tiberius in this also.

As they have pointed out, on the SA-8's if the O-ring in the regulator fails your next shot(s) would actually get full power unregulated CO2 in the chamber without any warning; so having the pressure relief valve is critical to insure safety and consistancy.

In most current production paintball markers if an O-ring goes out it will vent off as a leak that you must fix before you can continue to play.

Looking at the facts that have been discussed extensively this O-ring can/will be subjected to liquid CO2. It is known that the freeze/thaw of liquid CO2 can cause premature failure of O-rings. So the more that you use it, the higher the risk that this O-ring can fail.

Which explains why Tiberius designed the adjustable relief valve into the T-8 and t-9 paintball markers.

And before someone points it out yet again about how some people crank the adjustable relief valves up too high I ask: is that Tiberius's fault? Tiberius installed the relief valve and published the instructions on how to use it. So I would have to say no.
