So after giving myself multiple headaches I found the answer to my Nova leak at the very end of the troubleshooting list. Sort of...

My leak is coming from the front slot in between the body and trigger frame. This is apparently caused by worn o-rings on the spool.

My problem is that I can't get the reg housing out of the back of the body. I also can't get the feed neck out to remove the breech and spool from the front. It seems as though someone went a little crazy with the loctite but I can't be sure. The troubleshooting list says there should be small holes in the feed neck to insert a rod to make it easier to remove. There are no holes on mine. Must access spool. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

I'm also curious about the brass reg seat and pin. The seat itself had no o-ring on it when I removed it and had an abundance of dried up sealer of some sort (possibly more loctite). The pin appears to be a half-assed replacement made from a cut-down aluminum rolled pin. I'm pretty sure I can find the correct o-ring but I'm at a loss on the pin. I would like to know what the stock pin should be. I'm assuming it should be solid (which a rolled pin is obviously not) and should fit smoothly into the seat (mine has LOTS of wiggle room). Also how long is it supposed to be?

The marker worked beautifully for the two weeks I had it before the leak started. With the cobbled fixes I found inside I'm getting pretty bummed out.
