The SP8 has a better trigger than the stock Ion and the on/off button is a bit nicer.
Very durable, in it's stock form it is very nice feeling and balance is good. With a small to medium tank it works great, unless you run a remote. The stock is nice and will work with a small to medium tank but a remote will look cooler and keep it lighter. The stock barrel is crown pointed and when the ball leaves it you hear a metallic *ting*, pretty neat I thought. The longer barrel gives you the longer foregrip which makes it look closer to the real model. With the stock and foregrip extension it is a full sized combat rifle.
My only complait is the double trigger, doesn't look right at all.
I have no experience with the MX8 but assume it is a JABB and allthough may be louder and sound cooler, may not be as accurate as the SP8 or have as high a rof.
Price wise the MX8 is a bit cheaper, and you wont have to buy a HPA tank if you don't have one.
I can vouch for the SP8 and was thinking of getting one until I decided I needed a Vector.
