Regarding efficiency and my specific gun, R043:
- red main spring, blue valve (if I change this relationship and go lighter on the main or heavier on the valve, I can't reach 275fps)
- #6 powertube (high flow)

I just don't see how I can get around that combo. Any lower flow or shorter dwell and paint won't reach 275fps.

The valve chamber inside the insert has a relatively unobstructed path to the powertube. There's a millimeter or so
The insert redirects the gas from the 12-gram to avoid liquid going direct from 12-gram to powertube ports.

Give me some time to test this...
