I'm curious: is Earon Carter using standard Freak inserts or ones of his own design?
Dave Loo did some customization of the DD68. Cosmetics aside, the biggest and most overlooked change he made seems similar to my mod: a milled area behind the feed port to prevent pinches, per IronChef97's post:

I have no idea whether this is a unique thing, or if all the original 'shooters had this 'enlarged' feed port.
