several threads covered this..i believe the last count was 2 or 3.
but to answer your question i think they have the same internals for the most part. t2 you can take the top tube off and switch between right/center/left feed. t2 also has a more 'mechanical' pump stroke, and can bind if you pump rough. and the t2 you cant get the standard pump handle also.
