I talked to glenn about how camille works at the MCB campout and after seeing it again I am starting to piece it together. The pneumatics regulator is actually a reed/flutter valve and needed to be pre-charged through a check valve because the volume was very high. Although he didn't describe a separate air source for that part of the system it is entirely possible that the pneumatics used a separate source to the valve.

This actually prevented him from participating in the first tournament he took it to, not the semi-auto aspect. Check valves were against the rules because another team would take coils of steel braided and pre-charge them with 12g's.
