Do what I did...

Take it apart the Mav, remove the spring detent and degrease the breech. Let dry.

Add a drop of fingernail polish to the center of the groove that the detent resides in and let it dry. Return the spring and reassemble to test. If it's not "high" enough, repeat the process one-drop at a time until it's to your liking...and the marker operates properly as well (too much and the bolt won't go into the breech far enough).
