That's exactly what was wrong with mine. 3/4 of the forward oring was fine but the rest was mangled leaking air.
I had a spare in my oring bag that was roughly the same size so I popped it in there, and it worked like a charm.
My 70$ non functioning ebay nightmare now works like a champion.
The oring I had to replace eventually was this one, #9 just in front of 8 the metal washer.
I'd take actual pictures, but it works and seals now, I ain't taking it apart again.
