It is steel and doesn't have any weld seams because its an extruded tube. Its 1" square and has a gauge thickness of 15 (.0703")
my goal is to copy the SMG60 breach and mag design, thats why I just opened up the breach on my milled piece. I've never had feed issues with any SMG60, so I think its worthwhile to copy that design but modified for .68 cal.
