I can't have a dog at home because of apartment rules, but have had an office dog for the past 3 years. She sits next to me for about 8 hours a day, and I've dog sat her for about 4 1/2 months on ave per year. Her owner/my company owner refers to me as 'the step dad' with her. She's 14 years old, plays with anything that squeaks, never met a person she didn't like, and never misses a chance to eat people food. She's even turned multiple people at the office that grew up scared of dogs into dog lovers. She's the best.
