I think MCB TV has the whole video for the Vector. Pretty sure they show some stuff there. I know I have seen one of those animated cad diagrams around, but I don't have it. It is a pretty simple concept, really.
Oh, and I love the dern things too. They just feel "right" in the hand. They are also pretty complex and the work that went into them was very impressive at the time. Just taking the little trigger mechanism cover off reveals about 15 moving teeny parts.
