| lenses should be replaced EVERY YEAR. If you have LIGHT use of one, I would say every couple years is ok (as in used once of twice and stored somewhere UV isn't drilling it).
NIB and stored properly NEW lenses can be used, but something older and with a history of impact, like a play season SHOULD BE REPLACED. I replace mine yearly, you only get one set of eyes. |
