I stopped using force fed hoppers on my pumps. I had a few issues with both my Rotors and Halo B. The problem were mainly due to small bore paint or soft shell paint. The problem I experience was that the ball stack was pushed so far down(by the force fed tension), that there was a good chance of the bolt slicing the next ball. That is why if you notice Eclipse bolts have that ramp on top. It does seem to eliminate a lot of the slicing issue.
Either way, it cause enough of a problem for me to switch over to Sportshort/Winchester/Revvy. If you pick out your paint carefully(hard shell and decent size) I think you are fine with a rotor.
BTW You can turn down the tension on your rotor. This will help too.
