One of the biggest drawbacks to the Nelson design is the difficulty in cleaning the breech and barrel, post ball-break.
Rodney at RTR has it figured out with the Gargoyle, having a "lid" that pops off the breech.
There are just so many options for stock class Nelson guns, without something to set it apart, I just don't see the demand. The R7, DuckSlide, Dukie DSP and DRV are all going to be competitors, nevermind the Redux and Gargoyle.
Now, if you add a pop off lid for the breech that made cleaning easy, it starts to get interesting.
None of those are push cocking though? And From what I understand the splatmaster is not really nelson based.
