I'd make a me a nice, solid, knurled knob to replace the feed tube. I think that would be nice. Or, alternatively, something milled to match the contours of the rest of the gun. You just have to clock the threads correctly.
I think it's a good idea, but it would be cooler if the feedneck were integrated into the block, thus making it a much lower profile. Though as is you do get a nice ball stack going.
And I agree, it's not my thing, but as long as you're not cutting up any original parts, I see no problem with it.
