| The original VM Turbo Loader did not tap the side of the valve.
Instead, it tapped the access port just behind the feed block. That might be a better candidate for powering the reactive trigger ram.
It should provide plenty of power. The original Turbo Loader was pretty much just a small tube, and small clippard ram, and some 10/32 fittings.
Primitive, but that ram was able to bust apart the paint pretty good. So it should be strong enough to reset the trigger.
But if you insist on drilling a hole, put it BEHIND the existing valve set screw, not in front. Like Shmitti said, that would dump a full 800psi into the ram, and make shrapnel.
Put a hole between the setscrew hole, and the slot for the cocking knob, and that will divert the recock pressure to the ram.
