Long lawsuit and many surgeries later he has vision in it but will never be 20/20, and he was automatically intelligible for military service which was what he planned on doing.
I don't know what the stats are, but I can guarantee you that there are far, far more eye injuries occurring at golf courses than paintball fields. Golf courses in general are very negligent when it comes to safety, in my opinion.
