1st post and I'm listing a Tippmann Factory F/A, S/N 229 for sale. I know its a big no-no to list something for sale first in most forums, but since I got most of the info on the Factory F/A from these forums by lurking when I came across one, I figured I'd let you guys know I had it listed on eBay here: Vintage Tippmann Factory F/A (good working condition) | eBay
Long story short, I got it with a bad cup seal and the spring in the star feeder was broken. Last year I went through and replaced all the o-rings and seals, and rebuilt the valve. I then tackled fixing the broken spring in the star feeder. I fed it back through the shaft, heated up the tip of the spring to make it pliable, wrapped it back around the shaft, and put it back together. I've put 2000+ rounds through it last year and its been kept oiled and clean since.
-It cycles in semi and full auto if there's paint in the marker. It doesn't like to dry fire.
-It does not like C/A, CO2 only.
-It does chop paint in full auto, I think either I had the speed to hi, or towards the end of the burst the star feeder would be slack and cause the paintball to get stuck 1/2 way in.
-The star feeder can be turned ~25 times since the repair to the spring instead of the 30 originally.
