I am new to pump, having just picked up an Empire Sniper (been using electros for years). My question is this- If the bolt pushes the ball past the detents when you pump it forward and ready to fire, what is the purpose of the detents in this particular marker? To prevent double feeds? Aren't there some pumps that don't use detents? Could you theoretically remove the detents and underbore to prevent roll-outs? Does gravity feed and electronic hoppers come in to play? Set this pump newb straight, haha!
