They're still going to be open bolt, so it will have detents. As for the "hiss/chunk", I have no idea. That's pretty much a direct effect of using the SMAV as the trigger valve, so without knowing what GOG is using for this, whether it be an off-the-shelf pneumatic valve or something built specifically for the gun, it's hard to say.
