For racing seats, those are cheap ($137 is cheap for ANYTHING in a race car), but for $20 and a little luck at the local Pick 'n' Pull you can snag yourself something leather upholstered with plenty of give in the cushions still. And they come with the mounting and adjustment hardware, too. If you want the authentic racing car feel and look, though, yeah, I'd go for a Kirkey. Can't remember what page of that forum thread it was on, but one of the guys built a full "roll cage" out of PVC pipe to make it feel more realistic for himself.
