One thing is that the classic RTs are more often worn in well. I have a well used and abused x-valve that loves to RT. The newer one is not as easy, and I tend to tune them the same way.
Another thing that has a little effect is the level 10 bolt runs about 10% - 15% higher chamber pressure, making the difference between bottle pressure and regulated pressure that much smaller. An RT with a level 7 bolt should be just that much easier to sweetspot, especially with a lower pressure (850 psi) bottle.
I haven't noticed much else myself.
