ok.. got it today.. appears to be a sterling bronze. metal sheridan looking frame. everying was pretty gummed up so I spent a while cleaning things and it shoots fine. no leaks. no wire detent. no roll outs.. I tried my J&J barrel for my F1 llustrator and it seems to fit fine.. very quiet... i suspect this variant has a detent insert (1/4" looking ring in the breach)..

question: adjusting the velocity.. pls tell me about this shim thing. inquiring minds want to know. or is there another way.
