So what I would have to do is put the valve in sideways, and drill a hole in the right side of the bolt tube for the air line to come out.

I like the back bottle (I have an ICD Alley Cat with back bottle too and would love it if my A5 had one) so what I would do is tap a hole in the side of the body (right in front of the ASA) for a 1/8 elbow fitting and run it up the side of the marker to the valve, if anything to make it easier to maintain the air line and for more air flow.
