End of 2012 bringing about the end of DX?

I'm curious to see if the end of 2012 is bringing about the end of the cropped sensor for the enthusiast/pro models of cameras. With the 6D and D600 on the market now, there really isn't a compelling reason to buy a 7D orD300/Dwhatever in crop factor, unless a blazing frame rate is needed.

I can see the Rebel line from Canon, and the D3000/D5000 lines from Nikon continuing on, but that is all.

What other opinions are out there?

The D600 plus the Nikon 24-85 lens can be had right now for under 2K.
I finally decided to start a thread for my Feedback:

Rocking it for the Fringe Division!
