Technically you want the expansion chamber installed upstream of the regulator when combining them in a marker set up. If you install the expansion chamber downstream of the regulator the chamber will cause the CO2 to expand further and it will negate the purpose of the regulator. Now you can get a gas-thru grip to run with the regulator since the air passage is around 1/8" ID all the way from the bottom where the air fitting attaches to the top where it is threaded for the ASA threads.
