I have to agree. If I thought the SAR12 was a better sniper rifle, I'd buy one. What I love about the SR1 is how well it works and how reliable it is. A mag just complicates things. So far I have never felt the need or desire for a mag. It's so much fun to use, that I have to occasionally force myself to drag my T9.1 out of its rifle case and put a few rounds downrange with it just to make sure it still functions. The T9.1 has a mag and it's no slouch in the accuracy department, but it will never be my first choice for pure sniper work.
