every time i load up a pack, i always face the pods so that the open side won't catch on another pod. but most importantly, i always make sure that the pods are closed.
i do laugh at people who wear their packs upside down. sorry, you look funny to me.
i've never dropped a pod. i've had had them open on me, but i've felt the dropping paint and switched from the pod i was grabbing to the opened one.
