Before he was known as "magnificent7" he was known as "Lucky Day" from the "Three Amigos". After the Three Amigos defeated the villains the villagers offer to give the Amigos all the money they have, but the Amigos refuse it, saying that seeing justice done is enough of a reward for them. They then ride off into the sunset leaving "Lucky Day" broke and becoming The magnificent7 to be able to support himself.
