So my two cents, the t grip is well worth the extra money.
i did a veriation of the cooper pipe mod on it. but i used a 3/16 compression nut instead of the 5/16 compression coupler and it holds it pretty straight and it only cost .50 cents. it also keeps it off the walls of the grip frame so that in itself smooths out the stroke. i hear if you use a little graphite power on the fitting and the pump rod it is super smooth. didn't get to try it before i traded it though
