Are you hearing a clicking noise when you air up? This should be the sound of the on/off setting and pushing the sear rod forward and locking into place. If you're not hearing this, check your sear rod length. I am pretty sure looking at your original pictures and updates that the sear rod will need to be screwed in some due to where the back of the trigger sat when you got it vs now. The trigger rod should sit a business cards thickness from the back of the trigger. Once you have this set, you may have to fiddle with the field strip screw to sweet spot it.
