I have a printer...it's a Mendelmax 1.5 that I built. I can print virtually any 3MM filament you can get your hands on. I have Nylon, ABS, PLA, and a type of wood filament called Laywood on hand. There are some other filaments like HIPLA (High-Impact PLA) and IMPLA (Impact Modified PLA) that I haven't experimented with but potentially could. I also could buy Polycarbonate.
If anyone has designs to print and collaborate with me on to try to get something working together, I'd be glad to help.
I'm weak in the CAD world - but I can always do my best to hit the start print button. :P
sooo if i put my rotor lid on my CMM at the shop, measured the profile, made a CAD file for it... you could print one?
i may have to take my rotor to the shop
