it sounds much simpler than it is. this is a really simple process on the IR3. This is the first time I am seeing the underside of an 04 speed. I did not realize that WDP has "double drilled" the holes leading to the LPR channel (which is smart for low pressure airflow, but sucks for the sake of modification.)
maybe if you outline your goals here we can talk about your options. I am strongly recommending NOT performing this procedure because I do not think there is enough metal dividing the battery tube and the valve chamber to accommodate the larger hole you would have to drill and tap to plug those double drilled holes.
