you'll get it on tighter on the bike anyway.make sure you tool fits the lock ring good so you can really torque it..
I forgot to mention you should also repeatedly tighten the lock ring down after the first few rides as the gear will most likely be torqued on more.
both need to tight as possible at all times.

here's one of bikes,the frame/finish is from the 30's
rode it 80 miles in 4:02

it looked better with a old brooks seat on it but they hurt my ***.
