Oops, you're right, I remembered the size wrong. It's more like 9/16 which isn't common enough to be cheap anyway.

And duh, I didn't even think about using collets, I've got plenty of them in the size range needed...

I really need to sign up for a machining course so I can learn the proper/easy ways of doing this stuff...
