I bought a SLG after getting tired of the weight and humongous size of a DM4. The SLG is really simple compared to the matrix family of markers, less o-rings to worry about, reaööy simple design.

I have no clue how it is on batteries since I'm still using my first one, DM had great battery life.

I get way way more shots with the SLG out of the box, even my DM4 was set up perfectly (I bought the SLG as my woodsball marker, so the # of shots you get really counts when playing in a biggame)

The "recoil" is slightly higher than on a DM but it's acceptable, good shot groupings even when shooting across the field. Didn't use the stock barrel since I had a few UL's around. As for someone complaining it's loud??? It's not super quiet but it sure isn't loud, try using a Etek/Vector/trracer and then tell me it's loud

Grip frame and trigger on the SLG has a plastic feel to it, other than that I love it, small, light, fast, cheap and the stock board has all the modes you need. Replace the asa to a on/off asa, feedneck to a adjustable one and youre set.
