The last time I saw big CCM presence on the field, or on forums (other than here or CC), Autocockers were still a fairly common in the tournament scene... The last "big" thing I remember was their frame for the SFT and that seemed like a last-ditch attempt at staying mainstream.
Anyhow, when they moved away from semi that really sealed the deal, but with the pump resurgence a few years ago mainstream players seemed to realize that their parts are great... then a little more recently that their markers are great. For the last year and a half I've seen CCM markers all over PBN, and it's been about 10 years since the last time it was like that.
I guess what I'm saying is when you're catering to a niche market you scale down production some - do it for a decade and you scale down everything... When suddenly the demand skyrockets it can take some time adjust.
