Twas a strange day indeed.
I remember it well, was in the 12th grade and my alarm clock was my TV. Woke up, same old finance stuff on the tube. 10 minutes later the first attack occurred and the world was changed.
My school was all but shut down in the respect that the teachers weren't really teaching for the next few days. Most of us spent the day trying to keep on the news of what was going on.
Funny thing was, Sept 11th 2001 was my parents 20th anniversary and they completely forgot about it. It was like a week later when they even realized they both had completely forgotten about it.
