| You need to slow down the cyclic speed.
I had a VM with Full auto, But it was controlled with a Finely adjusted Pneumatic circuit. This is essential.
The only way I could think to make a Full auto mechanical VM to function would be to lengthen the hammer stroke, Beef up the detent, Modify it for Vertical feed off a halo, and run it off a 1200 PSI air america tank, with plenty of flow. A stabilizer will only slow the flow to the valve.
Modifying the valve would also help, But this takes care. The idea would be to enlarge the porting between the bottom and top tubes, And to port the valve all the way around, slap it in a lathe, And turn a slot all the way around, like a modern spyder Hi-flo valve. Of course, at that point, some flow modification to the backend of the valve would be required to reliably recock the hammer. Drill a 1/16" hole through the back of the valve, and use a setscrew in the body to tune the recock gas.
After that, Bore a LPC into the body if there isn't already one there, and put a gasthrough grip on the front ASA, or a hollowed EXC to keep a steady supply of gas available.
Doing the buffer removal would help as well, Top it all off with a Victory halo, or a Qloader, and you're almost there.
I'd suggest a stock, and maybe a Bipod. The recoil on this beast is going to make keeping a steady shot Very diffacult. |
