actually we measured the barrel and it is exactly 6"... with out the unisizer. because the freak will have to extend out to the end of the old unisizer. we should have around 1/2 to 3/4" to play around with at the end of the barrel.

personally i believe that lathe is the appropriate term but if you wish we can call it turning.

but once again can a get a statistical comparison of both?
