| Thats pretty much how the GalaticZ worked. It used a skid-plate. I think most of the airsoft guns that backpin use some variation on the skid-plat technique.
I used a cooperT bolt on my VM for nearly all the 90s. It CAN work just as well, if not better then the Flatline, but you just have to make sure the paint is far undersized from the barrel. It needs to freely roll out the barrel.
Fluff is right about the hammer. The bolt does not line up with the stock hammer, but I think EvilEd made one fit one? probobly just requires drilling a new hole?
