Most 4-ways only have 3 barbs. The center is typically the input, output on either side, and vents on the outside of the outputs (end of the 4-way body on a cocker switch).

I haven't had any experience with them personally, but I believe that the Palmer 4-ways are rated for the pressure, or were made that way at one point. Early generation Cockers were made without an LPR, so they are definitely out there.
