Here's an update. I called AAFES just a few minutes ago. They had the shipper on the other line while I was on hold. The shipping company Ingram Micro stated that as far as they knew, the product shipped. They were able to tell me that it was UPS. They said that unfortunately, they didn't know the tracking number.

Excuse me?

I was a little peeved at this, and in no uncertain terms did I tell them exactly that.

They responded that they would get in touch with the warehouse to find out, and get back to me within a few hours.

This seems like I'm jumping through wayyyyy too many hoops to find a tracking number for something that I already paid for. It appears that the company Ingram Micro is truly horrible and does not have their s*** together.

Call me an optimist, but I'm still hopeful (though just barely)...
