If not done correctly you put a lot of stress on the workings... you are loading on one side of the bolt(at least with a phantom), which is fine for low rates of fire.. but at higher rates the offset loading.. not balanced.. can cause excessive wear which leads to failure.

If you can balance the loading (ie dual pump rods) it would work better.
